Additionally, the person who fills this position will work under the direction of the Club Director at the E.W. Hagler Boys & Girls Club in Augusta, Georgia.
This is a part-time position: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM- 7:00 PM.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Youth Development Professional (YDP) is an integral part of the program team. This position is a perfect fit for someone looking to take a first step in their career to work with youth in a academic, athletic, and/or artistic setting. With the priority of working with youth during program hours, the person who fills this position will also be responsible for the items listed below.

ENVIRONMENT & WORKING CONDITIONS
Daily contact with club staff, club and teen center members, outside organizations and individuals to plan, coordinate and deliver programs. Normal internal office environment. Travel to special events and field trips may be required. Must be able to work daily afternoon/evening hours. Occasional weekend hours may be required to accomplish objectives. The job requires the ability to stand for extended periods, kneel, reach, bend, and lift objects weighing in excess of 25lbs. Outdoor work and moderate physically demanding activities may be required on occasion.
