The National Digital Equity Center is looking for one part-time staff to join our team as a Digital Navigator serving communities in York County. A Digital Navigator is a trusted guide who assists York County, Maine residents with internet adoption and and access to free NDEC digital skills resources.

· Is assisting low-income York County residents to get affordable internet access something that you are passionate about too?

If you answer “Yes!” to these questions or “I’d like to find out more!”, becoming an NDEC Digital Navigator may be for you. Applicants for these positions are based in York County and must be able to meet the following requirements:

· Must reside in York County, Maine.

· Must have a home-based office with high-speed internet access.

· Excellent communication skills, compassion, and patience.

· Available for 24 hours a week during the hours of 8:30 am to 8 pm EST, Monday through Friday excluding holidays.

· Travel within York County is required as a part of this position (reliable vehicle is needed)

· Ability to speak/understand French, Spanish, and/or Portuguese preferred, but not required.

• Must have a valid Maine Driver’s License
• Must have auto liability insurance

· Starting pay: $25.00/hr.
