Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Yoga Instructor to join our team and lead yoga classes for participants of all levels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of yoga philosophy, various styles of yoga, and the ability to create a welcoming and transformative space for practitioners.
Responsibilities:
- Design and lead yoga classes for beginners, intermediate, and advanced clients.
- Provide safe, effective, and inspiring instruction in yoga through well-prepared classes and programs.
- Offer modifications and alternative postures to accommodate all levels of clients.
- Maintain a comfortable and positive class environment with attention to safety and the physical and emotional wellbeing of clients.
- Promote and adhere to the yoga lifestyle and ethical guidelines as a positive role model.
- Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management.
- Maintain a clean and organized class space before and after sessions.
- Assist in promoting and marketing yoga classes to increase attendance and participation.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and participate in continuing education programs to enhance expertise and maintain yoga certification.
- Provide one-on-one instruction and consultations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Certification from a recognized yoga teacher training program (200-hour minimum; 500-hour preferred).
- Experience teaching various styles of yoga such as Vinyasa, Hatha, Ashtanga, Yin, or Restorative.
- Proven ability to conduct classes through demonstrated poses, clear instruction, and appropriate adjustments.
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to ensure the safety and well-being of participants.
- CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong commitment to the principles of yoga and personal wellness.

Work Environment:

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $41.00 - $45.00 per hour
