Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic examinations using X-ray and other imaging modalities as needed.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images according to physician specifications.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for imaging examinations.
- Evaluate images for quality and clarity, ensuring diagnostic accuracy.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and facilitate patient care.
- Adhere to regulatory standards and guidelines for radiation safety and patient confidentiality.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on technological advancements and best practices in radiologic technology.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Nevada.
- Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and imaging software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and regulations.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
