Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic examinations using X-ray and other imaging modalities as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images according to physician specifications.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards.
• Follow established protocols and procedures for imaging examinations.
• Evaluate images for quality and clarity, ensuring diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and facilitate patient care.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and guidelines for radiation safety and patient confidentiality.
• Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on technological advancements and best practices in radiologic technology.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Nevada.
• Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and imaging software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and regulations.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

Pay: $23.79 - $28.65 per hour
