The Warehouse Associate position exists to ensure effective receiving of inventory(through a handheld device) between the dock and distribution center. This role ensures the proper evaluation and receiving of merchandise and managing inventory flow. GREAT ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS ARE REQUIRED.

Job Duties:

• Evaluates products and moves to designated zones for processing (Receiving)
• Audits and maintains accuracy of HFM (Hold for Merchandise) staging area
• Processes receipts and ensures inventories are controlled, monitored and logged
• Creates required documentation to log all shipments
• Reports and responds to Store Management about unsafe and/or unethical conditions
• Protects Company assets by following company policies
• Performs daily housekeeping, including cleaning and straightening, etc.
• Miscellaneous duties as required
• Maintains safe/clean receiving area

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting
- Proficiency in shipping & receiving and order fulfillment processes
- Knowledge of stocking, reach truck operation, e-commerce, packaging, and order picking procedures
- Experience using RF scanners and basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail in receiving and accuracy in picking & packing orders

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
