Valet Attendant Responsibilities

• Provides valet parking services to safely and efficiently move guest vehicles to designated parking
• Understands guest service need and exceeds guest expectations by taking advantage of opportunities to add a special touch
• Greet guests who arrive to the hotel by opening their car door and welcoming them to the hotel, unload guest luggage from car
• Responsible for interacting with guests in the lobby, while ensuring the area is neat and tidy

Valet Attendant Requirements

• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to work well with others
• Must have a high school education or equivalent experience
• Have basic knowledge of service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
• Able to work alone without direct supervision

Valet Attendant Physical Requirements

• Continuous standing and walking
• Negotiating wet tile floor and steps
• Carts: 250 lbs. (12-20 lbs. of push/pull force required)
