In collaboration with Terrain Café and Events leadership, a Visual Display Assistant creates an emotionally engaging environment through visual artistry and servicing the customer. They are responsible for supporting the visual display process part time seasonally on a weekly basis. The hours are split between visual display and plant care and maintenance. They contribute to supporting operations through service, maintenance of living investments, and daily procedures.

Visual Display Assistant supports Visual Field Manager

Teamwork + Communication

• Share Knowledge: exhibits strong communication while actively participating in daily meetings and projects; shares passion for plant, horticulture, and floral design & garden style
• Contribute: takes initiative and works productively with the team to achieve common, collaborative design goals
• Adaptable: demonstrates adaptability by redirecting display priorities as needed to work through problem-solving scenarios

Visual + Business Operations

• Visual Environment: understands the terrain aesthetic and partners with design leadership to create compelling displays and installations
• Display Maintenance: collaborate and communicate with operations teams to ensure proper care of plant displays; maintains cleanliness and organization of back of house display areas
• Department Responsibility: leads an area of specialty to provide elevated knowledge to customers and associates in a meaningful and interesting way
• Awareness: adheres to store’s safety standards, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
