Wellstar MCG Health Imaging (formerly AU Health Imaging) is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, compassionate individual who is a strong communicator to join an energetic, patient-focused team! Come and join our team as a Tech Assistant for a PRN (as needed) position at our outpatient imaging center located in Augusta, Georgia. Our office hours are mainly from 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday through Friday & 8 AM to 8 PM on Saturday. We offer competitive pay and a great benefit package!

EDUCATION:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Ability to work efficiently as an extension of certified/registered staff or licensed independent practitioner.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
• Demonstrates understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
