TCNJ AmeriCorps is committed to helping nonprofit organizations build the sustainability of programs beyond the presence of AmeriCorps support to meet community impact objectives. The program supports 30-40 members to address issues related to youth literacy, college access, food security, and job skill training. This position would be placed directly at Arm in Arm in Trenton, NJ serving the needs of the community who are food insecure.
Member Duties : Referrals & Case Management Assist with connecting patrons to community resources Contact community partners and schedule them to table at TASK Assist with applications to SNAP and other benefits Help organize Case Management files by entering data and scanning documents Complete basic client intakes using the new Case Management software system Assist clients via phone Organize Case Management closet/inventory Assist with organization and distributions during holidays and special events Pick up birth certificates/run general Case Management errands Update brochures/flyers/informational handouts and translations Assist with Patron Services when needed Represent TASK at events (virtual and/or in-person) to teach people about available services
