As a Spa Attendant, you would be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and relaxing/fun environment for guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Maintained cleanliness, set-ups, and spa standards in the locker rooms, and workout areas. Set up and maintain spa including refreshments, locker rooms, workout areas, and pre-treatment area. Assist massage therapists and estheticians and prepare and clean the treatment rooms and tables. Provide spa customers with refreshments, towels, washcloths, and robes.

  • Welcome members and guest to facility.
  • Maintain locker room in a tidy manner.
  • Check, assign, and clean lockers when needed.
  • Maintain proper inventory of towels, facecloths, necessary linens, and fold orderly throughout the day.
  • Pick up clean linen from laundry throughout the day as well as running soiled laundry and linens to laundry department.
  • Direct members and guests to appointments and assist them with questions if possible.
  • Assist members and guests with the use of sauna, steam room.
  • Maintain toiletries in locker room and vanity.
  • Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries and resolve service issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area including, but not limited to, cleaning the facility, women's locker rooms, machines, and equipment in accordance with federal, state, local and company standards.
  • Stock and replenish the facility with supplies and products, including, but not limited to clean towels, fresh water, drinking cups, etc.
  • Assist in monitoring facility use to ensure guest safety.
  • Must be able to work weekends on a permanent basis and holidays.
  • Perform any additional tasks as directed by a supervisor.
Qualifications:
Critical Skills:
  • Ability to read, understand and follow verbal/written instructions.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations.
  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks and to deploy resources effectively.
  • Must have the willingness to provide exceptional service to members and desire to provide leadership to position the department to achieve the mission.
  • Ability to understand verbal and written direction in English.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs for 50% of the workday.
  • Bending and stooping 80% of workday.
  • Stands and walks for 95% of workday.
