Job Summary: The primary responsibility of the Business Office manager is to complete and verify patient insurance information and ensure all the proper paperwork is prepared, accurate, signed and completed in the admission process. This individual completes items throughout the patient's stay ensuring updates on patient payment information and all daily business office related items are completed in a timely fashion in the facility.

Essential Job Functions:

· Coordinates a multidisciplinary team to expedite medically appropriate cost effective care using established criteria to determine status

· Meets with administration, medical and nursing staff, as well as other related departments in planning services-to include patients and family

· Partners with the patient, family members, patient’s care team and social services staff, health and community agencies to insure a smooth transitions upon discharge from the Center

· Ensures that all documentation is informative, descriptive and follows the Center’s policy and procedures

· Assists with the admission process when needed

· Attends care plan meeting to provide insight and professional guidance to patients needs

Education

· Bachelors in Social Work, Sociology or Psychology

· Must meet the State educational requirements for a skilled nursing facility

Specific Requirements

· Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test

· Must complete COVID testing based on El Paso county's percentage rate

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
