The Guard Alliance Inc. is looking for a few Security Dispatchers/Administrators to join our team in Concord, CA.

The responsibilities of the Security Dispatcher/Administrator position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Perform a wide variety of administrative duties, and performs related work as assigned.
  • Answer and direct phone calls with a clear, concise, and professional voice
  • Reply to emails and phone calls.
  • Speak with our clients after hours and effectively resolve their issues.
  • Find and speak with our subcontractors for new and ongoing jobs
  • Find coverage for late call-offs or new jobs
  • Use scheduling software to adjust schedules
  • Use software to monitor officer activity during all shifts and at all posts
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
  • Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient
  • Resolve administrative issues

Position requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Proven administrative experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software is required
  • Demonstrated ability to be very customer service-oriented
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills

Physical/Mental requirements and working environment:

  • The job is performed in an office environment
  • The employee must be able to concentrate on details, work under deadline pressures, apply sound logic and judgment, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English clearly

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Overnight shift
  • Weekend Shifts

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 22 per week
