Operation of scale to include:
- Accurate tare weight of inbound customers.
- Accurate weighing of outbound customers.
- Inform loader when customers are waiting for material
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service at the front window. Including directing new customers about our process and where to go for product pick up.
- Prepare scale tickets for billing and get signatures when needed.
- Ensure customers have a ticket with their name and/or vehicle plate number and ensure it is signed and attached to the scale ticket as required.
- Sends transaction register and ticket copies to the main office on a daily basis.
- Process/log customer check, and cash payments.
- Report any issues with the scale computer to main office.
- Answer incoming customer phone calls when scales are slow.
- Performs housekeeping duties to ensure that the scale house is clean and orderly.
- Performs other administrative duties as assigned.
Applicants must be detail-oriented, able to multi-task and have a professional and enthusiastic attitude. Approximately 25-30 hours per week. Benefits are based on eligibility.
