Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Rural Carrier Associate to join our team. As a Rural Carrier Associate, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to rural areas using a variety of vehicles and equipment. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent driving skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Duties:
- Safely operate a box truck, tractor-trailer, or other designated vehicles to deliver mail and packages to rural areas
- Load and unload mail and packages using pallet jacks and other equipment as needed
- Follow assigned routes and adhere to delivery schedules
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any issues or concerns
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving

Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in route driving preferred
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis
- Familiarity with using pallet jacks and other equipment for loading/unloading
- Experience driving refrigerated trailers is a plus
