Job Description
Pearlstone, a dynamic retreat and conference center located in Reisterstown, MD, is seeking a part-time Banquet Server & Meeting Room Setup person (Retreat Services Associate) to assist in the day-to-day operations at the center. The two main areas of this position include food service and overall care and appearance of the facility including: meeting rooms, common areas, dining areas, kitchen, bathrooms, and storage areas.
Candidate will be called upon to participate in catering services including table setting, serving, light kitchen prep and clean-up. Responsibilities will alsoentail housekeeping duties that include, but are not limited to, cleaning and restocking bathrooms, vacuuming, window cleaning, and sweeping and mopping. Candidate will also be responsible for meeting space setup, maintenance, and breakdown (i.e. moving tables & chairs, setting linens, cleaning and sanitizing rooms, snack and beverage service, etc.)
Candidate must be driven, self-motivated, extremely organized, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and possess the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This is a moderately physically demanding job and requires pushing, pulling, bending, lifting up to 50lbs., carrying, and standing for long periods of time.
Exceptional customer service is a must! All candidates must have reliable transportation as no public transportation is nearby Pearlstone.
WE ARE LOCATED IN NORTHERN REISTERSTOWN AND NOT ON REISTERSTOWN RD IN BALTIMORE.
This position does not include benefits. Work schedule is flexible, but you must be available nights and weekends. One year of similar work experience in food service, and willingness to learn about the kosher food service industry are required.
MUST have proof of COVID-19 vaccination to be eligible for hire.
$500 Sign-on Bonus!
