Job Title: Resident Services Specialist at Brighter Days Housing Organization: Love Chapel – Ecumenical Assembly of Bartholomew County Churches

Location: 421 S. Mapleton, Columbus

Position Type: Part-time, hourly - excellent second job or part-time opportunity tailored to your schedule; can be as low as 12 hours per week, up to 20 hours per week. Shifts are four hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM or 6:00 PM to 10 PM. We are looking for people able to work between three and five shifts per week with flexibility between the two shifts. Regularly scheduled hours include weekends.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; experience working in a housing program, nursing, or customer service position preferred.

Reports to: Housing Manager

Overview: Work with Love Chapel’s staff and volunteers to provide housing for Bartholomew County residents who are homeless.

• Perform general office tasks including some data entry, preparing the nightly log sheets, assigning chores, etc.
• Assist with ongoing processes at Brighter Days including guest interaction, volunteer oversight, operations, etc.
• Assist with light cleaning, laundry and organizing
• Prepare continental breakfast and sack lunches for guests.

Additional Notes: Non-standard hours of work. Criminal record check is required.

Pay: From $15.60 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
