Employment Type: Part-Time (10hrs/wk.); Non-Exempt; Non-Benefitted

Reports to: Resident Services Supervisor

Location: Happy Valley, OR

Compensation: $18.72-$20.80/ hourly

Who You Are:

The Good Shepherd Resident Services Specialist (RSS) is a part of CCO's resident services team and will be responsible for greeting residents and building visitors and directing them to the appropriate staff. They will answer resident inquiries and coordinate with other building staff. They will answer and direct telephone calls to appropriate staff, and take messages as needed. They provide after-hour emergency support when management is not on duty including building rounds, lockouts, emergency maintenance and light cleaning.

What You Will Work On:

  • Greet residents and building visitors and direct as needed to the appropriate areas.
  • Foster and promote positive relationships with residents; act as an approachable and engaging on-site presence.
  • Assist residents in completing forms such as maintenance requests and resident reports.
  • Maintain a log of events such as resident interactions, deliveries and other relevant events that occur in the community.
  • Assist new residents with move in and orientation with the community.

What You Bring:

Education, Certifications, and Licensure Requirements/Preferences

  • High school diploma or equivalent lived and/or worked experience required.
  • Certification (or ability to certify within 30 days of hire) and ability to maintain certification in CPR, 1st Aid, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens and Narcan Training.

Experience Requirements/Preferences

  • Two years' work or volunteer experience preferred.
  • Lived experience or experience working with low-income families and individuals.
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of Clackamas County resources.
