Job requires duties that include but are not limited to the following:

-Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations ordered by the physician.

-Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently and independently under the supervision of the vascular surgeon. 

-Candidate must be able to work at a fast-paced outpatient environment with a team oriented mentality.

-Ensures correct ordering of exams, and contacts physician before making changes

-prepares the exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct examinations.

-uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images.

-Must be competent at performing and interpreting upper / lower extremity pulse volume recording and segmental pressure studies, peripheral arterial duplex, venous reflux, carotid duplex, and aortic duplex exams.

-Completes and confirms correct exam billing

-Must be competent at interpreting all of the above mentioned exams and writing formal reports with assistance of reporting templates, in compliance with all diagnostic criteria. and contacts outside referring physicians when required, according to established procedures.

-Be able to assist and guide the vascular surgeon during vein procedure while being fully sterile.

Pay is NOT hourly. We pay $40 Per Ultrasound, and additional for vein procedures.
