Part-time, 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday - 9a-1p or 10a-2p (not remote)
$24 per hour

The Heritage at Brentwood is a premier senior living community looking for a hospitality-minded Recruiter to find qualified candidates through various resources, including Indeed and social media, and to conduct applicant screenings and/or interviews. This position will work closely with hiring managers in Administration, Community Life Services, Environmental Services, Food & Beverage Services, Facility Services, and Somerfield Health Center, our skilled nursing facility, to ensure that we are moving quickly on the recruitment and selection process.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement an overall recruiting strategy to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable candidates for open positions
  • Communicate effectively and collaboratively with hiring managers to ensure understanding of needs for open positions and to update applicant tracking tools
  • Monitors applicant tracking systems (Indeed and Taleo) and communicates promptly with viable candidates
  • Completes pre-screening process with qualified candidates through email, phone and/or Indeed messenger
  • Updates recruiting dashboard and other tracking tools weekly
  • Creates graphics for social media and other recruitment resources (i.e., Canva)
  • Looks for opportunities to promote open jobs within the community (i.e., local schools, local chambers, nursing schools, online job boards)
  • May attend job fairs or conduct onsite tours or interviews as needed

Qualifications

  • College graduate preferred with 6-12 months experience as an administrative professional, recruitment or human resources
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (Indeed, Taleo) and online graphic design tools (Canva) preferred
  • Must be able to understand recruitment needs for each hiring manager and to present The Heritage at Brentwood as a preferred employer to qualified candidates
  • Able to handle routine tasks, follow specific instructions, and manage scheduled appointments
  • Able to communicate effectively with applicants, hiring managers, Director of Human Resources, community resources, and others
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and other office equipment preferred
