Job Description

Job Summary

To perform specific central supply service responsibilities that assures adequate supplies and equipment on the patient care unit. To keep all areas of responsibility clean and in order. To perform any other assigned tasks.

Qualifications Required

  • High School diploma or the equivalent.
  • Computer experience and use of general office equipment
  • Minimum of six months medical experience, prefer CSR, nursing assistant, or medical clerical position.
  • Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
  • CNA or willing to obtain

Qualifications Preferred

  • Previous healthcare setting experience

Essential Functions of the Job, Departmental expectations

  • Performs duties and responsibilities to assure adequate supplies and equipment of the patient care units.
  • Maintains supply inventory and initiates replacement orders.
  • Performs job duties safely, uses correct body mechanics, and uses appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Assures that the assigned work area is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
  • Works with suppliers and delivery personnel to maximize efficiency.
  • Other duties: Completes all other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
