The Project Administrator is responsible for assisting with the successful execution of customer projects. In this role, the Project Administrator will take responsibility for assisting the Project Managers with ensuring successful implementation of customer projects – on-time delivery, within budget and quality.

Requirements:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Project creation in ERP system.
  • Support project updates in ERP system for changes to project milestones.
  • Project reporting through BI tool utilizing templates.
  • Support and update project schedule planning and adjustment in ERP system.
  • Assist in reporting schedule deviations caused by customers.
  • Assist with change orders and follow up with customers on delinquent or delayed payment phases.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Functional Manager to streamline activities and share technical difficulties.
  • Support debugging phase.
  • Assist with activities during the Internal Acceptance Test process including paperwork.
  • Collaborate with Functional Managers for project execution activities.
  • Review, document, and update Mechanical, Control, Electrical and assembly/debugging activities.
  • Attend project meetings and morning meetings in the debugging floor.
  • Update project schedules in Microsoft Project.
  • Update resource plans as needed.
  • Coordinate and monitor adherence of activities for temporary workers onsite.
  • Coordinate and document work schedules and monitor adherence to schedule and productivity for temporary workers, providing real-time resource allocation changes as needed with support of Project Managers
  • Interface with customers via phone, email, and face to face upholding Mikron’s values.

Required Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • Associate degree in business, Engineering, or similar
  • 2+ years’ experience in the Automation, Manufacturing, or Construction industry
  • Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project is required.
  • Able to work with different jobs function during project phases.
  • Capable to coordinate project resources requests and forecast with Functional Manager and Project Manager.
  • Able to analyze and interpret customer URS, design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine the feasibility of the requests.
  • Ability to prioritize activities during project execution phases.
  • Always establish a partnership relationship with the customer.
  • Keep sufficient inventory of customer supplied products, review the stock of customer products on hand for machine debug and keep the customer informed of potential impacts on a timely manner.
  • Ability to estimate costs and delivery time during all project execution phases.
  • Capable to work with excel cost sheets and understand the formulas and the data behind the summaries.
  • Drive daily work activities with the project team and in the debugging area for related projects
  • (Preferred) Industrial automation experience.
  • (Preferred) Medical/pharmaceutical manufacturing industry knowledge.
  • (Preferred) SAP experience a plus.
  • (Preferred) PDM/PLM, ERP experience a plus.

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • May be required to work off-shift hours and Holidays
  • Ability to travel as needed with adequate notice
  • Must have a valid state Driver license and be eligible to obtain a passport for international travel
