Job Description

Administrative Assistant to help with projects, research, and courses related to the Center for Animal Human Relationships (CENTAUR). Duties include course and CANVAS site management, coordinating off-campus shelter animal experiences for students of veterinary medicine and animal science, management and regular updates of CENTAUR website, and office duties related to relocation and reorganization. Familiarity and comfort working with dogs, cats, and horses is preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Basic office skills including typing, electronic filing and organization, and additional administrative duties for CENTAUR activities and related courses
  • Familiarity with information technology and ability to learn computer skills required to update and maintain CENTAUR website
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Experience and familiarity working with companion animal species (dogs and cats)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with horses
  • Knowledge of and experience working with audiovisual technology
