Processing Technician Responsibilities:

• Receive and interpret prescription orders, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Input prescription and patient information into the pharmacy management system with precision and attention to detail.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain inventory levels by restocking shelves, monitoring expiration dates, and assisting with inventory management tasks.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting patients with prescription-related matters.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards.

Processing Technician Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification preferred.
• Proven experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and prescription processing.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems and computer applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
