What will your day look like? As a Portfolio Wear Test Coordinator, you will:

The Portfolio Wear Test Coordinator’s role is to ensure performance of our innovative materials and outdoor apparel and accessories, across multiple brands. This role will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing wear tests, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive product development and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Product Development teams on fit tests and sizing projects to offer insights, collect data, and analyze sizing patterns from wear tester databases. Perform fit specific tests as needed on special projects.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to seasonally identify materials and products to be tested, and to understand product requirements and testing objectives.
  • Manage intake of wear test requests for anything that falls outside of seasonal material and style selection, including quality assurance tests, advanced development tests, and late seasonal submits. Partner with relevant teams to understand testing objectives.
  • Identify and select external vendors, in conjunction with the materials team, to create wear test samples, ensuring alignment with product wear test goals.
  • Manage communication with vendors on wear test sample creation including project overview and request, detailed sample and calendar requirements, pattern and tech pack information, collection of invoices, and quality inspection of samples upon receipt.
  • Design and implement individual product wear test plans, considering variables such as usage scenarios, environments, relevant performance metrics, and required calendar deadlines.

Technology Requirements for a Portfolio Wear Test Coordinator:

  • Expertise in PLM systems, SAP, database and Microsoft Office applications
  • 2-3 years minimum experience in apparel, textiles and knit product in a quality capacity.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, testing best practices & methods, systems and tools.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Analytical problem solving, risk assessment and decision driving skills.
  • Effective written, visual, and oral communications
