Photographer / Videographer

Part-time position approximately 20 hours / week depending on company needs

Salary range: $20 - $25/hour depending on experience and portfolio

We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Photographer / Videographer to create stunning photos/videos of our clients’ residential properties for use in Marketing. This position includes some travel and shooting on location in Fairfield and Westchester counties. Experience with drones is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality photographs and create compelling videos of our completed landscaping projects, showcasing their beauty and uniqueness.
• Operate drones to capture aerial footage and images, enhancing the visual storytelling of our work (previous drone experience strongly preferred).
• Collaborate with our design and construction teams to plan and execute onsite shoots, ensuring all aspects of the project are effectively documented.
• Edit and retouch photographs and videos to enhance their visual appeal while maintaining a realistic representation of our work.
• Create engaging and captivating visual content for use across various social media platforms, ensuring the brand's visual identity and tone are consistently maintained.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in photography, videography, and social media content creation.
• Assist with ideation and brainstorming sessions to develop innovative and creative content ideas.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather and incorporate feedback, ensuring content meets the company's vision and objectives.
• Maintain an organized and easily accessible library of visual assets for future use.

Qualifications:

• A strong portfolio showcasing your photography and videography skills, preferably including examples of landscape or architectural photography.
• Proficient in using professional cameras, drones, and editing software (Adobe Creative Suite).
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in shooting and editing both photographs and videos.
• Excellent artistic eye and attention to detail, with the ability to capture visually appealing content.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their content requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate new and innovative ideas for visual content.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
• Prior experience in the landscaping or architectural industry is a plus.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Photography, Videography, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in photography and videography.
• Drone piloting experience and certification is strongly preferred.
