Under the direction of program leadership, creates and develops all illustrations and animations for the program. Works closely with other members of the content team to develop and enhance overall content.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Works directly with program leadership to develop all illustrations for the specific content of the program. Meets regularly with content experts to ensure accuracy of medical illustrations.
• Animates all medical procedures that will be included in the program’s content.Meets with program leadership and clinicians to ensure a thorough understanding all steps involved. Follows guidance provided to capture required content.
• Researches medical textbooks, medical journals, and other resources to determine specifics for creating medically and physiologically accurate illustrations and animations.
• Works with post-production team to integrate illustrations and animations into all content.
• Attends content meetings to report on the progress of work, and communicate regularly with editors to add illustration and animation files to videos or documents.
• Maintains database of illustrations, images and animations created by the program.
• Creates all illustrations and animations that will be used for in other media such images for the program web site, platform images, and presentations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Medical Illustration or a closely related field with a focus on Animation.
• Moderate to advanced medical illustration and animations skills are required.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations. Ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
