Job Duties

Cashiers

In addition to being knowledgeable of and operating the POS system, this Front of the house team member is the first person to greet customers when they walk through the door. They answer questions related to the menu and educate customers on the different product options available. This role handles all forms of money during their work shift. They are required to follow appropriate cash-out procedures or use a point-of-sale system to record a customer’s total and help them pay their bill. Lastly, they collect payments from guests, returning the appropriate amount of change.

Cooks/Fulfillment Specialists

In this role, before the restaurant opens for the day, team members work behind-the-scenes, focused on items being prepped and cooked for the day. This is to ensure timely service and decreased delays for customers. Cooks and Fulfillment Specialist may prep toppings, bottle beverages, cook menu items that require extended time, and complete food preparation.

Runners

Once the food is prepared, any restaurant team member may be called upon to deliver it to a customer. This requires attention to the order number and ensuring the proper items are delivered. To keep food service effective, team members may need to communicate with kitchen staff, cashier and or customers.

All Team Members are responsible for cleaning, setting up the dining area, and keeping workstations clean and free of clutter; Informing management of potential/current issues; Understanding and learning recipes; Communicating with staff and management about inventory and stock of product; Using kind and positive words and phrases with staff and customers, Advertising new product to customers and upselling product. It is the responsibility of everyone to keep up the appearance of the restaurant. During down times or in-between shifts, team members clean, sanitize, wipe down, or sweep areas where food is prepped or served. They also re-set tables, restock dining utensils and menus to ensure every guest has what they need.

Shifts can vary between the hours of operation which are:
Mon - Sun
9:00 am to 10:00 pm

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Servsafe Certification
Experience in Customer Service
Experience in Food Service
Knowledge of Baking/Cooking
Knowledge of Food Safety
