Requirements for BOH position:
- Friendly and upbeat personality

- Restaurant experience is required
- Prior experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred
- Ability to learn and explain our menu crafted from family recipes
Responsibilities
BOH Daily Restaurant Operations
- Food preparation, including some fish cutting.
- Cleaning and maintaining a sanitized cooking environment
- Cooking with multiple deep fryers and ovens
- FOH Responsibilities
- Tips are split between the FOH and BOH evenly, so everyone must be customer-focused.
- GB’s BOH staff take phone orders as well as orders at the register when necessary. They also make laps in the dining room to bus tables and check on customers.
- We also like to cross train all of our staff so we further promote our value of teamwork.
Communication
- Professional communication with coworkers, management, and most importantly the customer.
- Provide exemplary customer service.

- Flexible Scheduling: We work with you if you have other commitments (i.e. another job, family, school). We understand that family and school come first.
- No extended late shifts. The latest we close is 10pm, so our staff is out no later than 11:30pm.
Pay and Rewards:
- Pay rate during training: $19.50 per hour
- Pay rate upon completion of training: $13.50 per hour (+ $6-$12/ hour in tips)
- Pay increases will be determined at quarterly assessments.
- Guaranteed pay rate minimum of $19.50 an hour after tips. If you do not hit this number for whatever reason, we make up the difference by raising your pay rate.
- $200 sign on bonus after 6 months of employment
- $200 health insurance contribution for full time employees (35+ hours per week) should you choose to enroll in any of our available health plans.
