Job Description:

The Oswego Thrifty Shopper is seeking a Part-time Sales Associate I. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and driving sales in a retail environment. This position requires a high level of product knowledge and the ability to effectively communicate with customers to identify their needs and recommend products that meet those needs. The Sales Associate I will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store, restocking merchandise, and processing transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers
• Identify customer needs and recommend products that meet those needs
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized store
• Restock merchandise as needed
• Assist with inventory management
• Meet and exceed sales goals

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior retail sales experience preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
