The Receptionist will serve as the “first impression ambassador” and will answer the phones, greet visitors and perform clerical/administrative duties. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 1 pm.
- Foster a welcoming environment by greeting guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor visitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Order lunch for visitors as needed
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing and photocopying
- Organize visitor smocks
- Order and restock office supplies and coffee
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail/deliveries
- Process outgoing shipments
- Order and organize company uniforms
- Assist with planning and execution of special events
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required skills/abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
- Previous receptionist experience preferred
