We are looking for a Patient Care Tech to join our team in our residential / detox and treatment facility in Toccoa, GA. Our programs are 100% voluntary, and the patients we serve come to us looking for help as they begin their recovery journey. We are looking for Patient Care Tech's that are passionate about making a real difference in our patients’ lives and who are excited about the prospect of helping them discover a new sober life.

The Patient Care Tech is responsible for providing structure, guidance and support for patients.

• Full-Time 12 hour shifts available: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, weekends as needed
• Full-time employees are eligible for PTO days up to 10 days per year.

Responsibilities:
As a Patient Care Technician you will be directly interacting with patients and responsibilities will include the following:

• Assist with the supervision of patients in their daily activities
• Ensure the patients follow clinical schedule
• Transport patients as needed
• Make rounds of the facility to ensure patient safety
• Redirecting and supporting the treatment team with program compliance by patients
• Ensure housekeeping and upkeep of buildings and grounds are clean
• Get rooms ready for patient admission and discharges
• Promote a favorable/positive work atmosphere
• Attend in-services and educational training as necessary and as assigned
• Seek out learning experiences and incorporate new knowledge in practice
• Maintain flexibility and adaptability to expected and unexpected changes in the work environment
• Maintains safety of the physical environment
• Organize and function independently in an office environment
• Complete training in UDS (Urine Drug Screen) collection
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 35 per week
