Compensation: $40/hour + paid time off, family vehicle to use on the job, full healthcare, dental, and vision benefits, and 401k matching.

Schedule: The schedule will be every other week: Monday to Friday after school childcare and Saturday and Sunday. The proposed schedule is Monday to Friday from 3pm to 8pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 8pm but the hours can be flexible for the right fit. The position will ideally start in mid-June.

Household:

• The focus is on caring for a smart, easy-going, and playful 6-year-old who is enrolled in a full-day school program.
• Mom is very warm and welcoming. She is in and out of the home during the day.
• The schedule entails care every other week, offering 40 hours. This role is ideally suited for a preschool teacher or educator seeking additional hours, or anyone comfortable with a part-time schedule.
• They are avid animal lovers and have one dog so please be pet-friendly.
• This is a multi-level home and either driveway parking or a parking permit would be provided

• The ability to maintain a calm and easy-going demeanor, while also providing suggestions and following the established routine, is paramount.

Duties:

• School pick up and transportation.
• Planning and organizing outdoor activities, such as walks, library outings, and park visits, as well as engaging in indoor activities for rainy or cold days.
• Assisting with vegan snack preparation and meals for the child, aligning with the family's dietary preferences.
• Maintaining cleanliness in the child's areas and light household chores related to their care.
• Assisting with dinner and bedtime routines for the child.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of paid, professional childcare experience that occurred over the age of 18 (not for family or friends) with excellent references
• Can make at least a one-year commitment
• Covid vaccinated and boosted
• Valid driver’s license and a strong driving record
• Legal work authorization in the U.S.
• English fluency

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
