Overview:
Home of the Sparrow is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Part-Time Marketing Coordinator to support our Marketing Manager. This role will focus on retail marketing initiatives for our thrift stores, helping to drive sales, engage customers, and promote our mission, as well as support agency marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation and Management:
- Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns for agency and thrift stores.
- Create engaging content for social media, email newsletters, and in-store promotions.
- Capture and edit photos and videos of merchandise, events, and store activities.
- Social Media Management:
- Help manage social media accounts for the agency and thrift stores, including scheduling posts and engaging with followers.
- Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content and engagement.
- Marketing Collateral:
- Design and produce marketing materials such as flyers, posters, and digital graphics.
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing materials.
- Customer Engagement:
- Help develop strategies to increase agency awareness, event attendance, customer loyalty and repeat business.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve marketing efforts and store experience.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain marketing calendars and track campaign performance.
- Assist with reporting and analysis of marketing metrics.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in marketing, preferably in retail or nonprofit sectors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and marketing tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Basic photography and video editing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Flexibility to travel to various store locations as needed.
- A valid driver’s license.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact).
- Knowledge of SEO and online advertising.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Work Schedule:
- This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule, combining in-office, remote work, and occasional travel to store locations.
