We are looking for a Part Time Horticulturist. Under the supervision of the golf course superintendent, the horticulturist works to beautify the community by installing and maintaining ornamental plants.

Compensation: $15-18 per hour depending on experience

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performs routine maintenance of all flower and garden areas (weeding, pruning, etc.).
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery when necessary.
• Monitors moisture levels in all beds and hanging baskets, adjusts the low-pressure irrigation system, and applies water to non-irrigated beds.
• Responsible for fertilizer applications to ornamental plantings.

Experience Requirements:

• Have a passion for plants and an eye for detail
• A Maryland State Driver’s license is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to follow company policy/procedures and guidelines
