The Career Planning and Placement program is looking for a professional with previous assessing/evaluation experience to provide vocational evaluation and career exploration services to program participants.
TITLE: Vocational Evaluator
JOB CLASSIFICATION: Full time, 40 hours/week; Exempt
JOB PURPOSE: Provide direct services to consumers needing vocational/career exploration by assessing employment strengths, limitations, interests, disability adjustment and insight awareness using testing, simulated and actual-work experiences.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in working with disability population required, work experience with brain injury population preferred. Experience and knowledge of evaluation tools and protocol, understanding of standardized testing and implementation, previous assessing/evaluation experience preferred. Working knowledge of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, knowledge of assistive technology and job accommodations for job success, knowledge of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits, and knowledge pertaining to job service resources preferred. Effective oral and written communication skills required. Employment Service training certification required. CPR certification and first aid training required (these trainings will be provided upon hire along with required agency trainings).
