Part-Time Dietary Aide

Schedule: 6:00am-2:30pm OR 10:30am-7:00pm *weekend availability is must*

Reports to: Food Services Director

Position Summary: The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as, but not limited to, dishwashing, pot washing, general equipment cleaning, and storage and rotation of food and supplies. Responsible for janitorial duties in various dining service areas including dining room, Bistro, and other areas associated with dining activities.

· High school diploma and/or GED preferred

· One year job-related experience preferred

· Ability to handle multiple priorities

· Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication

· Competent in organizational and time management skills

· Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Essential Duties:

· Responsible for setup and maintenance of the dish and pot washing areas

· Operates dishwashing to properly wash and sanitize all dishes and china, silverware, glassware, utensils, and cookware

· Operates dish machines according to Food Safety Standards

· Responsible for the setup and maintenance of the pot and pan sink according to Food Safety Standards

· Manually washes pots, pans, and cookware

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
