Via Sofia's is hiring part-time cashiers for primarily night (4/4:30-8:30pm) and weekend shifts. Our hours are 11 am to 8:30 pm Monday - Sunday so additional hours may occasionally be available. Must be available on the weekend for this position.

You must be a hard worker, and positive customer service is a main priority. Hours may vary based on your availability - we are happy to work with your schedule if we can.

If hired, applicant will receive their agreed upon wages + tips. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Opening or closing duties
• Greeting the customers
• Taking customer orders
• Running the cash register and ensuring your drawer remains balanced after the end of your shift
• Filling drink orders (soft drinks, smoothies, specialty coffee drinks)
• Serving customer’s food once the Cook has completed the order
• Monitoring and clearing the tables as customers finish eating
• Answering phone calls
• Taking out trash and recycling
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Rolling silverware
• Cleaning bathrooms: sinks, toilets, floors, restocking toilet paper, etc.
