Solar Canvasser - Sales Rep

Southern Solar Inc. is a fast-growing, Norfolk, Virginia-based business that is looking to add Canvassers to our group! We are hiring IMMEDIATELY!

Job Description

As a canvasser you will be going door to door directly to potential customers, discuss and inform them on how they can save money with solar, collecting basic information, and set an appointment for your designated sales consultant.

We are looking for someone who can be coached to overcome objections, problem solve, work independently, has a great attitude, excellent customer service, and work 25 hours a week minimum.

No experience required, we are here to train and grow an amazing team!

Duties and Responsibilities.

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing in the designated area, including but not limited to, collecting needed information.
• Assess and qualify residential properties visually for installation requirement.
• Conducting light utility and site surveys to ensure proper collection of data.

These are a must!

• Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Maintain a clean and presentable appearance.
• Maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and supervisors.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to get to work on time on a consistent basis.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 – 31 per week
