Requirements:

High school education or equivalent experience

Committed to the values of initiative, responsibility, caring relationships, integrity, and innovation

Basic knowledge of computer technology including Word, Excel, and e-mail

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

Able to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends as scheduled

Responsibilities:

Make outbound sales calls by telephone in a professional, friendly manner
Recommend our services to customers and guide them through a consultative, direct sales presentation over the telephone.
Contact private individuals from pre-determined approved lead list, utilizing sales script in order to secure energy supply business in assigned utilities
Explain product offerings, pricing options, and other services as assigned
Obtain customer information such as name, address, and payment method, and set up customer accounts into company system.
Adapt sales script to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals and improve closing ratio.
Follow up on calls that do not lead to immediate sales by sending prospect further information by phone or e-mail; arrange follow-up call on agreed date; arrange courtesy calls for service satisfaction purposes.
Record details of all calls on computer system so that information is available for next state of contact.
Communicate successfully with supervisor and teammates regarding sales progress on hourly basis
Serve as back up to customer care during times of Code Red or as needed
Make credit courtesy calls to obtain payment arrangements and/or payments for past due bills
