Lucayan is seeking a mature and self-directed OFFICE ASSISTANT to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with professional office experience who is eager to grow and learn in the fields of Project Management Office (PMO) and Human Resources (HR). While prior experience in PMO or HR is not required, it would be advantageous.

Location: Tampa, FL
Position Type: Part-time (with potential transition to full-time)
Salary:$17-$19 per hour
Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to both the Project Management Office (PMO) and Human Resources (HR) departments.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining project documentation, schedules, and reports under the guidance of the PMO.
  • Aid in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, conducting initial screenings, and coordinating communication with candidates.
  • Assist with employee onboarding processes, including paperwork, orientations, and training sessions.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist with general office tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and handling correspondence.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations and project management.
Requirements:
  • Professional office job experience is required.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle diverse tasks and responsibilities.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Prior experience in PMO or HR is preferred but not required.
