Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and proficiency in various office software. This position requires a commitment to maintaining efficient office processes and supporting staff in daily administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support by managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain updated records.
  • Assist with customer service inquiries, addressing client needs and providing information as required.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks and financial record management.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.
  • Support with various clerical duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
  • Ensure the office environment is well-organized and conducive to productivity.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and QuickBooks.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in calendar management and scheduling is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues alike.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
