Job Summary:

Medical/ Surgical Units Check Refrigerator for interior temps, replenish floor nourishment and restock refrigerator and drawers. Checks ceiling clearance for supplies. Monitor sharps containers. Assemble admission packets. Replenish gloves in room and isolation caddies. Returning wheelchairs to designated arear. Removing dirty IV Pumps, SCD pumps, Feeding Pumps to the equipment storage room. Clean pumps and return clean equipment to rooms. Be a runner to Pharmacy or SPD for medication or supply pick-up. Stocking and keeping inventory of the supply room- communicate with unit Secretary regarding low PAR levels. Refill Ice Pitchers twice per shift.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Check stock and replenish various items - Stock Refrigerator and drawers. - Stock gloves in rooms and isolation caddies. - Stock Supply room to PAR levels. - Refill Ice pitchers. Performing support functions for nursing supplies / medications - Responsible for cleaning and ensuring pumps are in proper location. - Act as runner for medications (Pharmacy) or Supplies (SPD). - Return wheelchairs to designated areas. - Check Refrigerators for interior temps, monitor sharps containers. - Assemble admission packets.

Required Minimum Education:

High school diploma Preferred or equivalent Preferred
