Function/Duties of Position:
Under direct supervision, primarily provides general administrative support for a project, team or work unit. Basic knowledge of zebrafish husbandry. Typical wet bench laboratory conditions such as buffer solutions, standard chemicals, glassware, instruments, etc. Work location at OHSU campus Marquam Hill location. Student workers would not be exposed to human tissues/fluids without proper training. Work schedules will vary and will involve some weekend feeding of zebrafish.

Schedule is flexible, but in generally will be evenings and weekends, approximately 1-5 hours per week;assigned to work in the SoD, RJH. Will have contact with fish and fish pond water.
Required Qualifications:
  • Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in a Undergraduate Program with a minimum of 6 credit hours
  • Demonstrable record of reliable attendance, punctuality and proven successful performance
  • Demonstrated exemplary tact, discretion, confidentiality and diplomacy
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write and understand written and oral instructions in English
  • Demonstrated record of exemplary customer service experience
  • Basic knowledge of zebrafish husbandry
