Job Summary: Performs the full range of duties associated with the timekeeping function involving the maintenance, editing, review and completion of time card information for payroll processing for employees of one or more NEXCOM locations in accordance with NEXCOM policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is represented by the American Federation of government Employees Local 22
GENERAL EXPERIENCE - One 1 year experience in clerical or office work of any kind that demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE - One 1 year experience in maintaining, editing, and submission of automated timekeeping information.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE/GENERAL EXPERIENCE - Study completed in a college, university, or junior college above the high school level may be substituted on the basis of one-half academic year of study for six months of experience.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE - For the first year of specialized experience study successfully completed in a school above the high school level may be substituted at the rate of one-half academic year of study for 6 months specialized experience provided such study included a minimum of 6 semester hours or the equivalent per year in subjects related to the specialized field such as; accounting, statistics, business, mathematics, financial analysis. A 4 year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree is fully qualifying for this position.
