Seeking an experienced, energetic, pro-active paramedic or nurse for a mobile anesthesia practice in an outpatient dental setting.

Anesthesiologist who travels to private dental offices (Serving mainly South and Mid-Jersey with a few North Jersey locations) seeking RN/Paramedic to assist on a per-diem basis. 2-3 days a week. Hours vary depending on the day. Typical day 7am - 3pm. Will train. Competitive pay.

Duties will include:

• Loading/unloading equipment
• Set up/ break down equipment in between patients
• Assist with various aspects of patient management peri-operatively and post-operatively with increasing responsibility over time.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Experience with patients in intraoperative and post-operative stages of anesthesia preferred

Responsibilities:

• Meeting at that day’s dental office or at a predetermined location to carpool to dental office.
• Assisting setting up for the anesthetics of the day.
• Meet patient and family, in office, prior to procedure to review medical history, verify NPO status, etc.
• Assist during induction of anesthesia (assist in IV placement, airway management as needed, etc).
• Assist in anesthesia charting
• Assist for emergence from anesthesia.
• Observe patient while in recovery from the anesthetic to allow efficient transition between patient cases.
• Help clean and pack up equipment before leaving.
