About Mana Resources:

Since 2008 our agency has been providing services to youth around the state who are aging out of foster care and juvenile corrections who need a plan for becoming self-reliant. In 2013 we expanded our services to include CBRS, Counseling, Case Management, and Med Management and offer these services to the community. In 2018 we started Residential Habilitation, helping those with developmental disabilities to live independently. In 2021 we expanded our services and now offer Respite for families with SED youth. In 2022 we added Peer Support Services furthering our commitment to better our community through programs & services that assist individuals and families in identifying and building upon their own Mana, supporting recovery, resilience, and empowerment.

Environment:

Mana strives to create an environment that ensures a positive and personal experience for each client with staff who conduct themselves professionally and effectively.

Hours will vary depending on the client's schedule and the counselor's availability. Operating hours of Mana Resources are Monday - Friday 9:00 am-6:00 pm

What we are looking for:

Mana Resources is seeking a licensed counselor, part-time or full-time preferably in the office, who will work with our clients of all ages and various needs. Our counselors support community clients, both individuals and families, as well as clients in our Juvenile Reintegration and Residential Habilitation programs. Our Counselors:

  • Provide psychotherapy for youth, adults, couples, families, and groups with psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues.
  • Complete a full assessment and record review for each client including history, progress, provided services, and other pertinent information as required by the level of care guidelines of the client’s payment source.
  • Develop and implement individual treatment plans and maintain up-to-date records
  • Engage in regular treatment of individuals according to their plan and individual needs in a short-term or planned method using appropriately recognized and outcomes-based intervention methods.
  • Work with administrative staff to ensure that client scheduling is appropriate and needs are being meant
  • Work as part of a treatment team on individuals receiving services within the agency
Special Conditions:

This is an Independent Contract position and compensation will be paid per billable code

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree or higher in Social Sciences
  • Must be licensed in Idaho to meet the standards and requirements under IDAPA rules
  • Maintain State licensure requirements and remain in good standing for the duration of employment
  • An understanding of and adherence to the ethical standards of the respective license adopted by the governing board for licensure
  • Maintain CPR/First AID Certification (Preferred)
Requirements:

  • ICANS Certification
  • Cleared Criminal History background check, performed by Health and Welfare
  • Proficiency and use of Electronic Medical Records System
  • Maintain up-to-date treatment plans and documentation of services provided within insurance-required time frames for documentation
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance
  • Follow the NASW Code of Ethics at all times as appropriate for service delivery and rules of conduct.
  • Attend all staff meetings, staff developments, and staff training
