Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing and stocking meat, poultry, and seafood displays with high-quality products.
• Include weighing, packaging, and seasoning product for customers
• Have and show an outgoing and friendly behavior; a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers.
• Be able to work inside a temperature-controlled area, and perform general housekeeping in the department; clean and sanitize work area (including tables, floor, walls, cases, cooler, freezer, etc.).
• Ensure that all product meets the highest freshness, quality, and safety standards.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department and be able to respond to questions and make suggestions about products.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Stay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads.
• Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers are maintained and product logs are maintained.
• Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important, and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.50 - $17.85 per hour
