Job Description

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Marketing Administrative Assistant. This is a part time position offering 20 hours a week. This position serves as the primary support for the Vice President of Corporate Marketing Communications and her team, assisting with administrative tasks and project-driven assignments for the global marketing communications function.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $24,375 - $35,770 a year.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will provide value-added administrative and program support with project management, strong problem-solving ability, balanced judgment, and communication skills. In addition to carrying out administrative support duties (e.g. calendar and meeting management, invoice management, coordination with support functions like IT, mail room, etc.) this role will also have responsibilities connected to driving efficiency in our marketing communications operations, including support for brand, social media and marketing operations . The position will interact locally and globally with Corporate, Businesses, and Functions.
In this role you will:
  • Exhibit a professional communication style in person and on virtual calls when dealing with internal Executives, and internal and external partners
  • Be digitally savvy; demonstrates a comfort level using and learning new technology and programs
  • Support and project manage multiple marketing function SharePoint sites, capturing feedback and coordinating improvements with subject matter experts and process owners
  • Manage our brand resource libraries on SharePoint – manage files, descriptions and version control
  • Support marketing technology governance council with program management, including agenda development, scheduling, note-taking and task management
  • Invoice management - track and code invoices for multiple marketing vendors in our AP systems
  • Support translations platform and processes – maintain Eaton reviewer lists, refresh training and documentation
  • Manage supplier/vendor onboarding process
  • Coordinate internal communications opportunities for promoting new content and marketing tools and resources
  • Monitor and manage group email accounts responding to questions and escalating as needed
  • Lead the coordination of team meetings and complete all preparations for meeting arrangements
  • Demonstrate a high sense of urgency with the ability to act independently

Qualifications:

Basic qualifications:
  • Associate degree from an accredited institution and 5 years of experience in administrative and/or program/project management work
  • OR –
  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years of experience in administrative and/or program/ project management work. Proficient using Microsoft Office 365 applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Relocation is not included with this position; only candidates within the 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) years of experience as a program coordinator or manager or an Administrative Assistant supporting the marketing function with a global business.
