We seek a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our marketing team as a Marketing Administrative Assistant. This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity for someone eager, action-oriented, results-driven and passionate about marketing, and eager to gain experience in a fast-paced environment. This person must be result-driven.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings.
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.
  • Support with other key marketing administrative tasks (meetings, research, proofreading, promotional giveaways, etc.).

  • Monitor and respond to inquiries received through the company's marketing channels, including email, phone, and social media.
  • Assist with the organization and execution of marketing events, conferences, and promotional activities.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, and target markets to support marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in tracking and analyzing the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Support the Marketing Manager and other team members in day-to-day tasks and projects as assigned.


Qualifications:

Knowledge / Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and business concepts.
  • Organized, attentive to detail, and capable of multitasking effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments based on importance and urgency.
  • Desire to learn new tools and skills; takes direction well.
  • Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiar with social media platforms.
  • Familiar with Canva.com.
  • Ability to spot trends and engage in creative problem-solving.

Education/Training:

One or two years of Administrative support experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Certificates and Licenses: None required.

Language Skills:

Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, invoices, SOP, and instructions; write routine reports and correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one situations and small group situations to customers vendors, and other employees.

Math Skills:

Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percent and draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Identifies problems, gathers information, and offers solutions.

  • The work is typically performed in an office with a moderate noise level.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods.
  • To perform the job, the employee must regularly talk and hear on the telephone and in person with individuals and groups.
  • The employee must be able to reach with hands and arms to type frequently throughout the day.
  • Vision is required as the incumbent must read and respond to documents in hard copy and electronic form.
  • The incumbent may regularly be required to lift and carry up to fifteen pounds of documents such as reports, invoices, supplies, etc.
