Recreational Boating Marina Dock Hand
Description
**Job Overview:**
Cotton Patch Landing is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Marina Dock Hand. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fun environment at our recreational boating marina. The Marina Dock Hand will be responsible for assisting boaters with docking, fueling, and other marina services.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist boaters with docking and departing from slips
- Provide exceptional customer service to all marina guests
- Fuel boats and maintain fuel dock cleanliness
- Assist in general maintenance and upkeep of the marina facilities
- Handle rental equipment such as kayaks, paddleboards, and fishing gear
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Basic knowledge of boating and marina operations
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
**Salary**
- This position pays $8 per hour plus tips. Tips have historically been high given the volume of customers in summer months.
**Dates & Hours:**
- Preferably at least May 1 - September 3. We are flexible to work around school schedules.
- Hours will be scheduled on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. You do not need to work every day but you must be available at least two of those days every week.
- If interested, positions carry the possibility of a longer term arrangement in a full-time year-round role to grow with our company.
